mullet contest!!

Calling all kings and queens of the classic cut—it's time to let your locks shine in the Mullet Contest! When and where is the event?

The 17th Annual Cajun Fest will be Saturday, April 26 from 11am - 7pm. The event will be at the J.S. Bridwell Ag Center at 1111 N. Burnett Street.

What do I get for my Cajun Fest ticket?

Entry to the festival - but it's more than that! Live music all day, access to our food and specialty vendors, free kids area, watch contests and the slow bike race, play some corn hole, enjoy some community time in the heart of our city!

Who organizes Cajun Fest?

Cajun Fest is FUNdraiser and produced by Downtown Wichita Falls Development, Inc. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit and events like Cajun Fest help raise money for projects like saving the Keller Building!

Can I bring my cooler and lawn chair?

Cooler - no. Lawn chair - yes! Bring those lawn chairs, hang out in Bud Daniel Park while enjoying some great food and listening to some Cajun/ Creole music!

Can I bring my dog?

We discourage bringing four legged friends. There is an incredible amount of food around and the asphalt is typically very hot for this event. We do not want your animals to eat something they shouldn't or hurt their feet.

How do I get in for FREE?

Free entry is offered to our volunteers. Volunteers also receive a Cajun Fest shirt and food for their time and help. Find out more about being a volunteer here!
